The Foton AUMAN EST, a heavy-duty tractor tailored for the premium logistics market, was jointly developed by Foton, BFDA, and Cummins after four years of research in Europe and over 10 million kilometers of road testing. By integrating world-leading automotive supplier resources, in collaboration with U.S.-based Cummins and Germany’s Daimler, Foton Motor Group is advancing green, efficient, safe, and intelligent transport solutions in China through smart trucks and intelligent logistics. These innovations deliver up to a 30% reduction in fuel consumption, a 30% decrease in carbon emissions, and a 70% increase in freight transport efficiency. The AUMAN EST Super Truck is the first generation of highly efficient, internet-enabled heavy-duty trucks, co-developed by Foton Daimler, leveraging advanced technologies from the U.S., Germany, and China along with a world-class supply chain system. 

Using the advanced CAN-BUS technology of Continental AG
Realize on-line fault monitoring, diagnosis and analysis, and improve the stability and safety of complete vehicle. Based on the modularized and platform-based electronic architecture platform of CAN-BUS technology, it upgrades the emission level, matches safety-related systems (such as the ABS, ASR, engine brake, etc.) with the application .

Intelligent brake control system

With the EBP multi-state intelligent driving control fuel-saving switch and intealligent torque-controlled gear shifting, the standard ZF AMT transmission enables more than 80% of drivers to achieve fuel-efficient driving, lowering overall fuel consumption by 4–5% per 100 km. The vehicle adopts optimized Mercedes-Benz technology and is equipped with a high-displacement engine delivering high torque at low speeds, improving transmission efficiency by 2% while providing strong power and a broad fuel-efficient operating range.
