N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone, commonly known as NMP, is a high-performance polar aprotic solvent with low toxicity, high boiling point, and outstanding dissolving power. It features excellent selective solubility and stable chemical properties under various processing conditions. 

Widely applied in industrial production, NMP is commonly used for aromatic hydrocarbon extraction, acetylene and unsaturated hydrocarbon purification including olefins and dienes, as well as the dissolution of polyvinylidene fluoride materials and the production of lithium-ion battery electrode pieces. 

It also plays an important role in acid gas removal from syngas, lubricant processing, antifreeze products, olefin separation, engineering polymer polymerization, herbicide production, electrical insulation materials, semiconductor chip manufacturing, printed circuit board cleaning, PVC exhaust treatment, special cleaning agents, pigment dispersion, and colorant formulation additives.
