1. Factory-Customer Co-Creation

Over 20,000 pieces of advice have been collected from light-duty truck users;

The effort is built on the operational big data of Foton’s millions of urban distribution users, both in China and overseas;

Adhering to a “customer-centric” philosophy, the factory and customers have collaborated for three years to develop a user-customized super truck.

2. Targeted R&D

The R&D team of Foton Research Institute has dedicated three years to constructing a new technology platform. This platform is designed around four core goals: low costs, high efficiency, increased earnings, and enhanced comfort. It specifically caters to more than 20 segmented urban distribution scenarios and over 80 operating conditions for light-duty trucks.

3. Involvement of Authoritative Institutions

CATARC, China’s authoritative body in automotive R&D, has taken full part in Miler’s research and development process.

From the initial user research stage, through more than ten rounds of product refinements, to the final vehicle performance validation, Miler’s team, CATARC, and end users have joined forces to engage comprehensively in the production, R&D, and application links—ultimately fostering a win-win outcome for all parties.

4. Extreme Road Testing

A joint team consisting of Miler, Aucan, and CATARC conducted vehicle performance validation on Miler trucks under extreme environmental conditions. These included plateau areas (specifically Tanggula Pass, at an altitude of 5,231 meters), high-temperature regions (Turpan, with an average temperature of 45°C), and frigid locations (Hailar, with temperatures as low as –40°C). In addition, the trucks also underwent 2 million kilometers of comprehensive real-road testing in actual usage scenarios.
