Product Details

Zinc stearate appears as a fine white amorphous powder with the molecular formula Zn(C₁₇H₃₅COO)₂, and its structural form can be expressed as RCOO–Zn–OOCR, in which R stands for the alkyl group derived from industrial stearic acid. As a flammable substance, it has a specific gravity of 1.095, bulk density around 1.095 g/cm³, autoignition temperature of 900°C, and melting point at 130°C, with a smooth and slippery surface texture.
