Product Details

Sodium hyaluronate, often referred to as sodium glycosaminoglycan, is a natural biological macromolecule abundantly found in human tissues.

Classified as a high-molecular-weight linear mucopolysaccharide polymer, it consists of repeated disaccharide structures formed by glucuronic acid and acetylated hexosamine, with an average molecular weight of around 1,000,000.

When dissolved in water, it creates a highly viscoelastic solution whose pH and ion environment are highly consistent with human body fluids.

Its pliable molecular structure allows for smooth injection using fine needles.

A purified, non-irritating grade of sodium hyaluronate is commercially supplied under the brand Healon.

When prepared in normal saline at a concentration of 10 mg/mL, Healon reaches a viscosity nearly 200,000 times higher than aqueous humor or pure saline solution.

With protein content controlled below 0.5%, it guarantees exceptional purity and sterility required for clinical and medical applications.
